Job Advert: Secondary History Teacher - Ofsted 'Good' School

A well-regarded Ofsted-rated 'Good' school is seeking a History teacher to join their Humanities department. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students and deliver high-quality History lessons up to KS5.

About the Role:

Position: History Teacher
Key Stages: KS3, KS4, and KS5
Contract Type: Full-time, long-term
Start Date: ASAP
This role will involve delivering and planning lessons that encourage students to develop critical thinking, analytical skills, and a deeper understanding of historical events. The successful candidate will also be involved in assessment, progress tracking, and extracurricular activities, ensuring students reach their full potential.

What We're Looking For:

A qualified History Teacher with QTS (or equivalent).
Experience teaching KS3, KS4, and KS5 with a passion for bringing history to life in the classroom.
Ability to deliver engaging, discussion-based lessons that encourage critical thinking and debate.
Strong classroom management and the ability to motivate and inspire students.
A team player who is willing to contribute to the wider school community and extracurricular activities.
