Job Title: Site Engineer

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum
Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, Friday 8:00 am – 3:30 pm
Locations in: Ayrshire, Irvine, Ayr, Glasgow, Edinburgh

Role Overview:
We are seeking a Site Engineer to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for setting out instruments (Lyca or Trimble, depending on your preference) and overseeing groundworks on site. The projects will involve a variety of works, including roads, sewers, and footpaths across key locations in Ayrshire, Irvine, Ayr, Glasgow, and Edinburgh.

Key Responsibilities:

* Set out and operate Leica or Trimble instruments for site groundworks.

* Ensure accurate and precise measurements and levels are maintained on all projects.

* Work closely with site managers and teams to deliver high-quality groundworks.

* Assist in the supervision of on-site operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

* Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and engineers to ensure project objectives are met on time.

Requirements:

* Previous experience in groundworks or civil engineering.

* Familiarity with setting out instruments such as Leica or Trimble.

* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of work.

* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

* Own transport is preferred, though a company vehicle can be provided.

* A valid UK driving licence.
