Hunter James Recruitment are assisting our client - a well-established organisation within the Logistics industry with their search for a HR Manager to join their fantastic team in Uxbridge
THE ROLE:
* Being responsible for creating methods and new ways that our business can attract talent within the industry sector
* Implementing and maintaining a streamlined recruitment and on-boarding process
* Develop and maintain all HR processes and procedures on site in according with company protocol
* Provide employment law advice to Managers as required
* Develop an HR strategy and policy from recruitment to retention, including pay & reward and succession planning, to support the business strategies of the Group.
* Design, review and update all contracts of employment, policies, procedures and related documents, in line with current legislation.
* Leading and positively contributing towards building a positive working culture and develop initiatives which inspire and motivate
* Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs
* Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
* Working collaboratively with all managers on matters of health and safety
* Recruitment, advertising, interviewing, making the offer, induction, probation review
* Supporting Line Managers with recruitment, onboarding, probation reviews, performance management, absence management, disciplinaries.
* Payroll, prepare payroll to submit to external provider, run overtime reports, absence reports, pensions opt outs, penalty charges
* Keep in house database updated
* Ensure policies & procedures are kept updated, liaise with external provider to ensure legal & compliant
* Appraisals & KPI’s
* Salary reviews
* HR presence with the staff
THE CANDIDATE
Be able to work under own initiatives and be a strong decision maker
Previous HR Management experience is essential
Excellent communication skills
Ability to plan and meet deadlines
Payroll experience
Strong team leading experience
Proven experience working in a Human Resources environment at management level
CIPD level 3 or working towards
Excellent communication skills
Good organisational skills
Have a hands on approach in all duties
Strong team player
