As a Childrens Care & Support Worker, you would be working within a Children’s Home, which provides support for children and young people who have severe learning disabilities. Young Adults. This fantastic service provides support for younger adults with profound, multiple learning disabilities providing them Residential Schooling and a home where they receive high levels of care.
Duties
* Personal Care needs such as washing and getting ready for bed.
* Ensuring good bedtime routines and sleeping patterns.
* Doing regular checks throughout the night.
* Ensuring any medical needs are followed.
* Ensure that you create a safe environment for both the children & your work colleagues.
* Light housekeeping duties during your night shift.
* Recording information and administration/
