Established the 1970’s, our client has grown to become one of the leading specialist engineering organisations in the UK. With Design, Fabrication and Machining facilities all in-house. They offer a full service from initial concepts right through to final delivery and installation.

We are seeking an experienced Steel Fabricator / Welder who has experience with power tools, hand tools, welding techniques, and mechanical knowledge. This position involves fabricating and welding various metal components to a high standard.

Main Duties:

* Fabricate large and small assemblies accurately with meticulous attention to detail, mostly in Stainless Steel

* Utilize MIG & TIG welding techniques proficiently

* Operate various machinery and equipment such as Pillar Drills, Saws, Folders, Plate Rolls and Guillotines

* Keeping working area clean, tidy & organised

* To assist in other areas as required

Candidate Skills and Requirements:

* Previous experience in MIG Welding essential, familiarity with TIG welding advantageous

* Interpret and work from technical drawings

* Good numeracy and literacy skills

* Demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills

* Meticulous attention to detail whilst displaying a diverse can-do attitude

* Willingness to learn and work well unsupervised as well as part of a team

* Good reliable timekeeping

Location/Hours: Dartmouth, Devon. Mon-Fri8am-4.30pm plus overtime when required
