About the Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Wind Tunnel Operations Engineer to join a high-performance motorsport team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the operation, maintenance, and development of a cutting-edge wind tunnel facility, supporting aerodynamic development programs.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the day-to-day operation of the wind tunnel.

Maintain and calibrate tunnel systems, equipment, and instrumentation.

Conduct routine checks and ensure accurate data logging.

Assemble, operate, and maintain test rigs, including R&D systems.

Diagnose, install, and repair electrical and electronic systems on the wind tunnel model and test rigs.

Assist with stock control and spares inventory management.

Continuously improve testing methods, procedures, and tools to enhance aerodynamic performance.

Report on tunnel efficiency and contribute to operational improvements.

Support mechanical and electrical assemblies for testing activities.

Provide guidance and training to colleagues on wind tunnel operations.

Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with industry standards.

About You
Experience in wind tunnel operations, ideally within motorsport or aerospace.

Strong understanding of instrumentation, calibration, and data acquisition.

Hands-on experience with mechanical and electrical systems.

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.

A proactive, detail-oriented, and professional approach to work.

Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
