Tradewind are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our client secondary schools in Cheshire West & Chester who are seeking an Art Teacher for a long-term role due to start in January 2025. This is a part-time position, working 0.8 continuing until the end of the academic year in July. Our client school are seeking an Art Teacher to teach across both KS3 and KS4 (AQA exam board).

The successful Art Teacher will be joining a school where every young person entrusted in their care is able to live life and live it to the full. Our Cheshire West & Chester client school strives for academic excellence anchored to the message of the Gospel - every young person is supported to become the very best version of themselves that they can possibly be.

The Art department at our client school provide some extra-curricular activities including Art club for all students, KS4 and KS5 trip to Paris, a KS5 gallery trip and regular Art competitions throughout the academic year.

Pay for this position is up to £223.62 per day, depending on experience.

To be considered for this Art Teacher position based in Cheshire West & Chester the essentials are:

QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
Experience teaching Art across KS3 and KS4
Excellent knowledge of the UK National Curriculum
Legal right to work in the UK
Full enhanced DBS on the update service or be prepared to undertake a new disclosureThis position is subject to safer recruitment checks including suitable references, DBS and overseas police check if applicable
