Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Location: Newcastle
Salary: £38,000 per annum

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team, managing the electrical maintenance of a diverse commercial property portfolio across Newcastle.This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional to join a growing organization, offering long-term stability and career development.

Key Responsibilities:

* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks on electrical systems within commercial properties.

* Diagnose and repair faults on electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and electrical wiring.

* Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards and complies with relevant health and safety regulations.

* Liaise with building managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure minimal disruption during maintenance activities.

* Provide technical support and advice on electrical systems when required.

* Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work performed and ensure that statutory compliance is met.

Qualifications and Experience:

* A relevant electrical qualification (e.g., City & Guilds 2365, 18th Edition, or equivalent).

* Previous experience in electrical maintenance within a commercial environment is essential.

* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

* A valid UK driving license is preferred, as the role may involve travelling between sites within the Newcastle area.
