Our valued client, based in Birmingham, are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join their team. As HR Advisor, you will play a massive part in an evolving team to fully support the HR function throughout the business.
This role is Monday – Thursday 8.30am-5pm, and Friday 8.30am-4pm. This is a fully office based role and experience in Employee Relation cases would be advantageous.
£30,000 - £32,000
HR Advisor Responsibilities:
Maintain HR systems and ensure records are kept accurate and up to date.
Collating data and creating Excel Spreadsheets.
Liaison with recruitment agencies.
Preparing job adverts, sifting CV's, interviewing and selecting appropriate candidates.
Prepare new starter paperwork and introduction of new employees.
Administer starter/leaver processes.
Lead formal meetings - grievances, disciplinary
Confident in ER related meetings.
Liaison with payroll regarding employee information
Ensuring electronic and paper based files are maintained and archived properly.
HR Advisor Qualifications:
Previous experience working within HR.
Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel)
Good verbal and written communication.
Take accountability and influence matters.
Well organised and pro-active.
Knowledge of HR legislation
Confident and can work under pressure.
