Key responsibilities/duties:
* Ensuring strict adherence to all Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality procedures
* Scheduling and coordinating production priorities., within the department but also with other departments.
* Coordinating with team Leaders to ensure effective supervision of staff in a busy welding/fabrication department.
* Driving forward quality and production improvement initiatives
* Monitoring and reporting production efficiencies
* Staff timekeeping and attendance monitoring/reporting
* Participation in staff training and development initiatives
Experience required:
* A strongproven supervisory background, ideally gained in the welding/fabrication sector is essential.
* Excellent communication and people management skills
* Ability to motivate and drive forward improvements.
* Excellent problem-solving capabilities
