About the Role: Are you a strong, confident individual with a passion for supporting young people? We are seeking dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our team at a SEN school in Milton Keynes. This rewarding role involves working with students aged 8-19 who have SEMH needs, including those with extremely challenging behaviours.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide essential support to students with SEN
Provide general and 1 to 1 support
Manage and support challenging behaviours with confidence and professionalism
Work closely with teachers and other staff to create a positive learning environment
Assist with personal care as neededPreferred Candidates Will Have:

Experience in a related field (e.g., SEN schools, support work, prisons, youth offenders)
Experience with severely challenging behaviour and SEN including SEMH
The ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations
A strong, confident presence
Excellent communication skills, both written and spokenRequirements:

A male would be preferred due to the possibility of personal care responsibilities of students, however, this is not essential.
Full right to work in the UK.
High proficiency in written and spoken English.Please note, this advert is targeted more towards male applicants due to the nature of the role potentially including personal care of the students, however, applicants from female are welcomed.
