Anderson Knight is currently seeking a Category Manager for one of our clients based in Renfrewshire.

The Category Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing category strategies to drive growth, optimise product assortment, and enhance customer satisfaction. This role requires strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and excellent stakeholder management abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and execute category strategies to meet company goals and market demands.

* Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive dynamics.

* Manage the product lifecycle from development to end-of-life, ensuring optimal product assortment.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and supply chain, to drive category performance.

* Negotiate with suppliers to secure favourable terms and conditions.

* Monitor and analyse category performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to senior management.

* Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives and process improvements.

* Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to ensure the category remains competitive and innovative.

Qualifications:

* Proven experience as a Category Manager or in a similar role.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

* SAP experience – preferred
