We’re currently offering a 12-month Fixed Term Contract for a Business Development Executive to join our client within the insurance sector. This exciting opportunity allows you to work on a hybrid basis, with occasional travel to the office in York for training and meetings.
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £32,000, with the potential to earn up to 50% of your annual salary in bonus over the course of the year. You will play a crucial role in developing new business, driving revenue, and building strong client relationships across a designated geographic region.
Key Responsibilities:
Actively contribute to departmental sales targets by meeting personal quarterly goals.
Conduct thorough fact-finding to understand client needs and present appropriate solutions.
Manage your sales pipeline using the CRM system, ensuring all client interactions are accurately recorded.
Build and develop long-term relationships with clients, handing over accounts to the Account Management team for continued growth and retention.
Utilise marketing tools, research, and market intelligence to target potential clients.
Maximise sales opportunities through networking, social media, exhibitions, trade shows, and worksite events.
Work collaboratively with your line manager and team, sharing best practices and contributing to overall team success.
Complete 15 hours of CPD annually and stay updated with all e-learning and B2B processes.Skills and Experience:
2-3 years’ experience in a B2B sales environment.
Proven track record of meeting sales targets and delivering results.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and objection-handling skills.
Highly motivated, resilient, and self-driven to exceed targets.
Comfortable sourcing leads, building relationships, and using a consultative approach to sales.
Familiarity with working in a regulated environment is advantageous.Accountability:
Achieve sales targets and pass quality assurance audits.
Complete face-to-face appointments and participate in dual calling sessions with your line manager.
Follow B2B processes and contribute ideas, market intelligence, and experience during team meetings.
Ensure work delivers positive outcomes for current and future clients.Additional Information:
