Job Title – Process Technician
Location – Coleford, Gloucester
Hours – Shifts 7am-7pm 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off
Salary – Starting at £28,000 per annum

Talento are delighted to be partnering exclusively with a company who are experts in manufacturing economically sustainable rigid plastic packaging. They use their expertise to help their customers, and the industry as a whole, recover used plastic packaging, transform it into new feedstock, and manufacture new bottles from old—all in a sustainable, closed-loop system.

Due to continued growth, they are now looking for an Process Technician to join the team in Coleford.

The Role –

Operation, maintenance and improvement of the sites plastic packaging production machines
Directs and monitors the execution of the production schedule
Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on related equipment as required
Performs production change overs and start up procedures
Inspect the finished product – visual and/or by camera
Execute quality checks
Comply with company safety policy & procedures as well as maintain good housekeeping

About you –

Background and Experience

Experience of working in a fast paced factory production / manufacturing environment
Blow Moudling/Injection Moulding experience would be desirable, but not essential
Good understanding of Health & Safety
MS office experience

Technical Skills

Tool changes and planned maintenance would be advantageous

Interpersonal Skills

Excellent team skills along with an enthusiastic and proactive approach
Energetic and enthusiastic approach to their current role, whilst being an effective communicator at all levels.
Possess good interpersonal skills, along with excellent organizational skills and job prioritization
Good communication, flexibility and reliability are essential for this position
