Job Title: Mechanical Fitter

Location: Sheffield

Shifts: Days Regular

Salary: £30k DOE

Metalis are currently in partnership with an established engineering company based in Sheffield. Our client is looking to hire a skilled Mechanical Fitter on a 12-week temporary to permanent basis.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assembling, repairing and performance testing of pumps, valves etc
Use of testing equipment to identify faults
Responding to breakdown
Problem solving and Rectifying malfunctions
Maintain working area and ensure clean and organised environment
Use of hand tools and measurement equipment
Work closely with clients and engineers to diagnose faults, investigate and defects and carry out repairs.Person Specification:

Candidate ideally to have a minimum of 5 years' experience working in a similar environment
Maintenance experience within an industrial settingShifts and Salary:

Days regular, Monday - Friday 8am-4.30pm
12 weeks temporary to permanent role
