Head Hunted Recruitment are working with a well-known and long established company based in Kings Lynn, Norfolk who are looking to add an experienced Surveyor to join their growing team of professionals. This new position has come about due to new business in and around Norfolk/Suffolk.

We are looking for an experienced Surveyor with a proven track record of surveying within a similar industry or previous position. You will ideally have at least two years’ experience working within a commercial interior fit out setting and/or shop fitting carrying out surveying duties.

The Surveyor will be working as part of a team with the objective of working closely with clients/customers securing future workloads for the business. Utilising past knowledge and commercial experience in conjunction with other members of the team to ensure that competitive bids are submitted to our customers.

To be successful in this exciting opportunity you will be a driven and self-motivated individual who is able manage the Surveying tasks in a timely manner.

Surveyor Main Responsibilities:

* To attend site and understand the client requirements

* To take full measurements, photos and description of scope of works for the proposal

* To confirm with client finish details and send samples where required

* To consider H&S/plant implications

* To consider building regulations

* To follow up with client and identify any concerns/queries

* To ask for commitment from client

* To hand over project details to the contracts team

Surveyor Requirements:

* 2 years’ experience in the Interior Fit Out Industry

* Proficiency in using Sketch Up and AutoCAD

* Strong attention to details and accuracy

* Excellent communication skills

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Driving licence and car required

* Willing to travel to site for enquiry/client meetings

This is an office based position (when not visiting clients) and comes with an excellent salary of £40K - £45K per annum DOE.
