HGV Drivers – Skips, RORO, Dustcarts
Location: Deptford
Salary: Up to £45,000 (depending on experience)

Role Description:
We are seeking three skilled HGV Drivers to join our Transport Team on a permanent basis. You will operate Skip Lorries, RoRos, or Dustcarts depending on your experience. This role is ideally suited to candidates with a background in waste collection and a strong understanding of waste management operations, particularly in South London.
Key Responsibilities:

Operate a fleet vehicle to collect recycling and waste from various commercial addresses across London and Kent.

Ensure all collections are carried out in accordance with waste management regulations and company procedures.

Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment to ensure safety and roadworthiness.

Adhere to all road traffic signs, transport legislation, and waste handling protocols.
*
Maintain vehicle cleanliness and condition.
*
Accurately complete paperwork and promptly report any vehicle damage, accidents, or mechanical issues.

Deliver excellent customer service and maintain effective communication with team members and clients.
Requirements:

Valid HGV license (minimum Group C) with no more than 6 penalty points or disqualification in the last 10 years.
*
Current Driver Certificate of Competence (CPC) card.
*
Previous experience in waste management or waste collection is essential.
*
Familiarity with operating Skips, RoRos, or Dustcarts in a commercial waste environment.
*
Willingness to undergo further training as required.
*
Strong teamwork, initiative, and customer service skills.
*
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
