About us. My client, a specialist textile manufacturer, have a fantastic opportunity for a Laboratory Technician.
Do you have experience of working within a lab environment, testing compounds? Alternatively, you may be graduate looking for employment within a laboratory to gain experience to support your education.

* Working pattern 5 days 7am – 3.30pm and finish at 1pm on Friday!

The Job:
* Testing and passing compounds and recording accurate results.
* Communicating results and remilling instruction as required
* Mixing of compounds for external customers
* Produce small scale production of customer ordered lab batches.
* Testing compounds for hardness, specific gravity. Plasticity and colour checks
* Clearly and accurately records test results using internal Q.C System
About you:
* Laboratory experience and understanding of compounds materials.
* Graduate with a relevant chemistry qualification looking to work within manufacturing.
* Eye of details and accuracy to record data with an understanding of QC systems
* Confidence and the ability to learn new processes with support.
