Job Description:

We are looking for a confident and adaptable Cover Supervisor to join our school in High Wycombe. This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for education who is ready to step into the classroom and support students in their learning journey.

Key Responsibilities:

* Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teachers, ensuring students stay on task with pre-set work.

* Manage classroom behavior in line with the school’s policies and procedures.

* Provide support and guidance to students during lessons, helping them to remain focused and engaged.

* Deliver clear instructions and maintain a positive learning environment.

* Support with administrative tasks and assist teachers when needed.

Requirements:

* Experience working with young people, ideally within an educational setting.

* Strong communication and classroom management skills.

* Confidence to lead lessons and engage with students of varying ages and abilities.

* Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.

* Relevant qualifications or training (desirable but not essential).
