Marc Daniels are working with a household name automotive company's financial services entity based in Bracknell in their recruitment for an interim Compliance Manager do help them deal with FCA regulations and changes for an initial 3-month period very likely to be extended.

This role will require candidates who have a strong grasp on monitoring and risk management.

35-hour work weekMain Responsibilities:

Supporting the Risk and Compliance department in ensuring that they meet its legal and regulatory obligations.
Conducting thorough thematic reviews from a second line approach in key business areas such as complaints, affordability and creditworthiness assessments, vulnerable customers and user access and producing in depth reports on findings and recommended next steps.
Shared responsibility for risk management activity.
Assisting with Risk Management, ensuring internal systems and assessments are frequently updated.
Supporting the business with Risk Management queries.
Horizon scanning to identify regulatory announcements and upcoming changes and writing briefing notes covering key regulatory updates and announcements for senior management.
Conducting monthly transactional monitoring of key operational areas, for example, Data Subject Access Requests, breaches and financial promotions.Requirements:

Have worked in a regulated financial services firm.
Has the ability to understand and interpret legislation and regulation.
Has experience conducting second line monitoring, both transactional and thematic.
