Adore Recruitment have fantastic opportunities available for a Factory Operative, on a permanent basis, at our client based near Chelmsford, Essex.
Our client is a leading food manufacturing site and are currently seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join the team.
Working hours: Monday to Friday – (36 Hours per week). Various extra hours available.
Food Production Operative Responsibilities include:
Be working as part of the team in production.
Assisting in the production or packing of all food products produced by Kismet Kebabs.
Operating machinery and equipment as required for the above activity.
Carrying out a variety of cleaning duties as directed.
Ensures firm’s policies and procedures are followed.
Complying with Company hygiene policies and procedures when undertaking operations while maintaining high standards of personal hygiene
Working in a safe manner with due consideration for personal Health & Safety and that of co-workers at all times
Factory Operative Requirements:
Prior knowledge/experience of operating food production machinery desirable but not essential
Be able to work as part of a team.
Prepared to work additional hours when required to meet customer demand.
Shows initiative.
Able to remain calm and focused during times of peak workload or during difficult situations.
Proactive and always striving to achieve the best from own work as well as the work from the team.
Ability to work in a fast- paced environment.
Excellent team member with good communication skills.
Due to location and start times - own transport is desirable but not essential.

Salary: Starting pay £11.44, once you have completed your training, you will then be put on the next pay grade.
