This building services design role is to join a highly professional friendly team of specialist design engineers delivering innovative and creative solutions. They are involved in a wide range of projects including schools, office builds, retail, and high spec and high density residential, projects range to in excess of £10 million in size. Projects are all conducted whilst maintaining a focus on sustainable design.

Responsibilities

* Carrying out the designs for a diverse range of building services

* To include design from concept to handover, including preparation of drawings, specifications, and all relevant tender documentation.

* Producing drawings (Layouts, Schematics, & Sections),

* To produce estimates as required and formulate budgets for projects as required.

* Working as part of a team to ensure that coordination is achieved.

* Reviewing and commenting on information provided by the client and other members of the professional team.

* Reviewing and commenting on information provided by contactors/sub-contractors.

* Attending and contributing to design team meetings, client meetings, pre-contract and post-contract meetings.

* Guiding junior team members.

Experience Required

To be successful in this role you will be an experienced electrical design engineer within building services.

* Ideally a graduate with a minimum of 6 years relevant experience in electrical building services design.

* High degree of knowledge of technical issues and ability in electrical engineering within building services.

* Ability to work independently.

* Experience within a range of building project types
