Works Engineer (Electrical & Mechanical) – Stonehaven

Are you an experienced engineer with a strong electrical background and solid mechanical skills? KBM’s client in Stonehaven is looking for a Senior Works Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a hands-on role where you’ll work with a variety of complex machinery, including spooling systems, heating equipment, extruders, DC systems, and solid-state drives.

What You’ll Be Doing:

* Maintaining and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment

* Diagnosing faults and implementing solutions to keep production running smoothly

* Working with DC drives, solid-state drives, heating systems, and extruders

* Carrying out planned preventative maintenance to minimize downtime

* Supporting projects and improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability

What We’re Looking For:

* Strong electrical background with mechanical skills

* Experience with DC systems, solid-state drives, and industrial machinery

* Ability to troubleshoot and repair a range of equipment

* A proactive and problem-solving mindset

* Relevant engineering qualification or equivalent hands-on experience
