Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Turner Programmer/Setter/Operator to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in programming, setting, and operating CNC machines using XYZ Proturn and Shopturn, with additional experience using Fanuc control based DMG Mori lathes being highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

* Write and optimize CNC programs for turning operations based on engineering drawings and specifications.

* Set up CNC machines, including tooling and fixtures, and perform first-article inspection to ensure conformance to quality standards.

* Run production jobs on CNC machines, monitor performance, and make necessary adjustments to optimize production efficiency.

* Perform quality checks at regular intervals to ensure that products meet quality standards and make adjustments as necessary.

* Conduct regular machine maintenance and cleaning to ensure proper functionality.

Qualifications

* Proficiency in programming, setting, and operating CNC machines using XYZ Proturn and Shopturn.

* Previous experience using Fanuc control based DMG Mori lathes is highly beneficial.

* Ability to interpret engineering drawings and perform in-process inspections to maintain quality standards.

* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machine and tooling issues.

Day-to-day
As a CNC Turner Programmer/Setter/Operator, your day-to-day activities will involve programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality components. You will work closely with the production team to ensure the efficient and accurate manufacturing of parts, while also maintaining a high level of machine performance through regular maintenance and quality checks.

Rate and Hours

* Rate: Competitive and based on experience.

* Hours: Full-time position with standard business hours. Overtime
