About the Role:

As an Embedded Software Engineer, you’ll join their dedicated Embedded Systems department, a crucial team behind their most advanced products. Your work will involve designing high- and low-level software routines, testing, and refining code that brings their systems to life. From enhancing performance to ensuring flawless reliability, you’ll be instrumental in delivering the high standards and innovation that our company is known for.

Key Responsibilities:

Craft reliable and high-performance software for embedded systems, developing high and low-level routines that meet stringent quality and efficiency standards.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware and software specialists, to ensure seamless integration of software and alignment with technical requirements.
Produce clear, detailed documentation throughout each stage of design, providing essential updates for internal reference and team alignment.
Conduct rigorous testing of software to ensure it meets or exceeds project specifications, maintaining high standards of performance in demanding environments.
What We’re Looking For:

Proven experience in embedded C programming, with knowledge of real-time operating systems (RTOS) and software architecture principles.
Ability to identify and resolve technical challenges during software development, ensuring efficiency and reliability.
Strong organisational skills, with the flexibility to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities in a dynamic setting.
A forward-thinking problem solver with an innovative approach, constantly seeking to improve products and processes.
Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

Degree in Software/Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.
Experience in the automotive or motorsport sectors, ideally within a QS9000/TS16949 environment.
Familiarity with Microchip ATSAM and PIC32 processors is an asset, along with a background in electronics hardware design.
A practical, detail-focused approach to problem-solving in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
