HR Support Administrator 

Salary: £24,310 pro rata
Location: Hybrid/Kings Hill, Kent

This is a part-time role based on 35 hours per week from Monday to Friday. The working hour are:- Mon 08:30-17:00, Tues/Weds/Fri 10:00 -17:00, Thurs 09:00 – 17:00

There will be a requirement to go to our office in Kings Hill, Kent at least once a week and other Kent offices as required. Please consider this when applying for this role.

As our HR Support Administrator you will be part of our HR Consultancy and Legal Connect team. We primarily provide advice and support to schools and academies with complex employee relations issues including disciplinary, grievance, capability, redundancy and reorganisations and TUPE Transfers.

The ideal candidate would have a level of administrative experience or a relevant certification/ qualification and must be able to commute to our Kings Hill based office at least once per week, please consider this before making your application.

What You’ll Achieve:

As a HR Support Administrator this role provides an exciting opportunity for someone who has had successful experience of working in HR Administration or in a Personal Assistant role and is confident in communicating with customers and enjoys working as part of a team. You will be working with four other team support colleagues providing important HR administrative support. Key areas of work includes:-

Acting as a first point of phone and email contact, monitoring group mailboxes and calls for team members, filtering as appropriate and redirecting communication. 

Providing HR administrative support to our consultancy and legal connect team including producing letters and documents, using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Support our Consultants with administrative tasks in relation to preparing case work and hearing papers, note taking at meetings, audio transcribing and arranging and managing a diary of team meetings and consultant duty cover arrangements.

Support with Headteacher recruitment processes on behalf of our customers. This involves dealing with general enquiries from candidates, requesting references, preparing packs, and arranging social media checks. Ensuring new appointment details are completed by the Selection Panel.

Support the administration of TUPE transfers by providing timelines and letters, checking employee liability information, liaising with key stakeholders, as appropriate

Support with redundancy processes on behalf of customers by producing timelines, completing redundancy and pension estimates and producing all letters connected with the process. Ensuring the timelines are met at each stage of the process.

Support our Senior Legal Adviser with communication associated with Settlement Agreements and other legal work for customers.

Support with job benchmarking processes by collating documents and making assessments.

Ensure that all case work you support is recorded on our case management system to ensure customer billing is accurate.

Raising disbursements where appropriate to charge customers for work undertaken and ensure accurate billing through case management and time recording system

Support with overseeing our core customer training and bespoke programmes, by monitoring booking system, ensuring invites are sent and access to online materials are available and certificates produced and raise associated charges.

What We Require:

Good organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail and willingness to investigate queries and anomalies, as required.

Excellent communication skills written and verbal

Be a self-starter with motivation and desire to ensure key tasks are accomplished.

The ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure work is completed accurately in accordance with key processes and deadlines

A sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and in particular Word, Outlook, and Excel.

Professionalism, credibility, and confidence when dealing with customers and colleagues.

Experience working in office administration and using initiative and proactive steps to solve problems and improve processes.

Previous experience working in a customer service environment

Awareness of Data Protection and need for confidentiality
