As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting their customers with all aspects of their daily living in the comfort of their own homes and therefore access to your own transport is essential
 
Key Responsibilities:

Provide safe, reliable, and compassionate care tailored to each customer's unique needs and wishes.
Respect and promote the dignity of each customer, ensuring care is provided with informed consent.
Monitor and report any changes or concerns about a customer's condition to the line manager promptly.
Maintain confidentiality of customers' personal and medical information.
Follow care and support plans, assisting with personal care, medication, meal preparation, housework, and more.
Engage customers in social, physical, and mental activities to promote well-being.
Record and report care provided, changes in condition, emergencies, and other relevant information. Role Specification:
 
Essential Criteria:

Caring, compassionate, and dedicated to anti-discriminatory care.
Self-motivated, reliable, and punctual.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Good organisational and numerical skills.
Ability to work alone or as part of a team, especially in emergencies.
Willingness to participate in initial and ongoing training. Additional Requirements:

Full driver's licence with Class 1 business insurance and a current MOT (if using own car for business purposes). Desirable Criteria:

Relevant care or health qualification.
Previous experience as a care assistant or unpaid carer.
Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and health and safety matters.
