Technical Sales Support Required!
Our client is a leader in the field of advanced moulding solutions, specialising in engineering structural foam moulding, injection moulding, and reaction injection moulding.
On behalf of our client, we are looking for a driven Technical Sales Support to join their team. The successful candidate will be tasked with estimating and calculating piece prices for potential new business, managing the entire quotation process, overseeing the manufacture of tooling for successful bids, and ensuring smooth introduction and transition of new business.
Working hours - Monday to Thursday 8am-5pm & Friday 8am-1pm, based at their site in Basildon, Essex.
Package:
Starting salary £35,000 to £40,000 (DOE)

Accurately estimate and calculate piece prices for potential new business opportunities, ensuring competitive and profitable pricing strategies.
Define and outline detailed tool specifications and seek quotations from toolmakers.
Prepare and present comprehensive quotations to customers.
Oversee the manufacture of tooling for successful quotations, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards.
Manage the introduction of new business, ensuring a smooth transition from initial quotation to full production, while maintaining strong relationships with customers.
Provide technical support to the mould shop, offering expertise on tooling processes and materials. Manage the repair and modification of existing tooling when necessary to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.Technical Sales Support - Requirements:
Background within engineering & relevant qualifications (HND/Degree)
Understanding of moulding processes, including structural foam moulding, injection moulding, and reaction injection moulding is advantageous.
Interest in or experience with technical sales, with a proven ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in relation to tooling and manufacturing challenges.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work effectively within a team, supporting cross-functional departments and contributing to a collaborative work environment.
