Meridian Business Support are looking to recruit a Customer Service Advisor to join the busy Commercial Department of one of our clients. Reporting to the Commercial Director, they will support the Sales and Marketing functions of the business with a range of tasks that include: • Administration and processing of customer enquiries, quotations and purchase orders using the company’s computer-based system. • Administration of the company’s CRM System (Customer Relationship Management) including regular updates relating to customer enquiries. • Regular communication with customers by telephone and email. • Regular communication and close working with other internal departments to ensure effective flow of information to meet business needs. • Supporting the Purchasing function during busy periods and holiday cover. • Supporting Management with departmental reporting and other administrate tasks. Skills/Experience • Confident with the use of computers/Microsoft 365 • Organised and methodical • Cheerful personality • Experience of working within a busy office environment a necessity Hours of Work Full time 36.5 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 8am – 4.30pm / Friday 8am – 12.30pm
