Trainee Accountant Apprentice

Cantello Tayler Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Trainee Accountant Apprentice to join our client based in Camberley.

We are looking for someone with initiative and drive, who is hardworking and organised with a "can do" attitude and is not afraid to take on new tasks. Accuracy, attention to detail and working to deadlines are an integral part of the role. Personality and a sense of humour are also important!

About the Trainee Accountant Apprenticeship:

The trainee accountant will undertake a formal training contract to study for their AAT qualification.
Undertake bookkeeping to trial balance
Prepare VAT returns and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
Prepare annual Statutory Accounts and Corporation Tax returns.
Prepare some client payrolls, personal tax returns, assist on audits, and develop, document and update new procedures and systems.
Ad hoc assignments as necessary.

The Trainee Accountant Apprentices will have:

GCSE Maths and English, preferably grade 6 or above. Three A Levels, including Mathematics, at Grade B or above is preferred.
Once the AAT qualification is complete, it is likely there will be the opportunity to train to become a fully qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA).
