We are currently looking to recruit for a Shunter / FLT role with a Class 1 driving entitlement on a temp to perm contract in Hixon.

Role Requirements:

* Monday to Friday shifts – 8am to 5pm Monday to Thursday and 8am to 2pm Friday

* From £14.04 per hour

* Must hold Reach and Counterbalance FLT qualifications (these can be inhouse qualifications)

* Must hold Class 1 entitlement with valid CPC and Tacho

* Ideally you would need to have a clean license but endorsements such as SP30, etc. can be considered depending on points.

Role Responsibilities:

* Operate Counterbalance and Reach forklifts to move, load, and unload goods safely.

* Stack and store products in designated warehouse locations.

* Safely manoeuvre and reposition trailers around the yard and loading bays.

* Ensure all trailer movements comply with site safety regulations.

* Conduct pre-use vehicle and trailer checks, reporting any defects.

* Assist with general warehouse duties as required.
