Salary: £76.98 - £85.00 per day

At TeacherActive we are excited to be working with a number of Primary Schools across Carmarthen. We are looking for multiple Teaching Assistants / TAs to work on a day to day basis, either full time or part time. These schools provide an excellent education for all students across the year groups. Indoor and outdoor lessons are offered to help boost engagement and to help them grow academically.

The successful Teaching Assistant / TA will be a capable and engaging member of the team helping to deliver a high standard of care to the children in your care. The ideal Teaching Assistant / TA for these roles will have experience in working with children with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) and have a good understanding of what this work entails. Having a positive and can do approach towards challenges would be a great help in being the ideal Teaching Assistant / TA. The Teaching Assistant / TA should be capable of acting under instruction so strong listening skills are a must. We want approachable and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as a Teaching Assistant / TA and this is where YOU come in!

The Successful Teaching Assistant / TA will:

Be able to support the classroom teacher
Have 6 months classroom based experience / working with children (can be voluntary)
Be capable of assisting the classroom teacher and working autonomously
