Business Development Manager required in Trafford Park, Manchester
Location: Manchester – Trafford Park
Working Hours: 40 hrs/week
Salary: £50,000 (depending on experience) - £100,000 OTEOur client, a well-respected and industry-renowned bodybuilding (coachbuilding) company, is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join their dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with exceptional communication skills and experience selling commercial vehicles to put their skills into practice and deliver excellent customer service and account management.
Key Responsibilities:
Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities through research, networking, and lead generation.
Develop a strong pipeline of qualified leads by targeting companies with fleet requirements for refrigerated vehicles and collaborating with commercial vehicle dealers to meet their conversion needs.
Build and maintain lasting relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders, nurturing long-term partnerships.
Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions that align with their requirements.
Prepare and present bespoke quotations and proposals that address each customer's unique needs, ensuring a perfect fit for their fleet requirements.
Collaborate with internal teams to develop and deliver solutions that meet customer specifications and exceed their expectations.
Conduct compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations, emphasising the benefits of refrigerated vehicle conversions.
Travel nationwide to visit customer sites, conduct face-to-face meetings, and provide ongoing customer support.
Meet and exceed sales targets while delivering excellent customer service and managing accounts effectively.Requirements:
Strong communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and manage relationships at all levels.
Previous experience in selling commercial vehicles is preferred, though not essential.
Knowledge of the refrigerated transport sector would be a distinct advantage.
Proven ability to generate new business through research and networking.
A strong understanding of customer needs, with the ability to develop tailored solutions that deliver value.
Self-motivated, driven, and target-focused, with a competitive streak.
A full UK driving licence is essential as travel will be required.Benefits:
