Audit Senior – Corporate Audit and Advisory
Location: Norwich (with occasional homeworking)
Working Hours: Flexible, across five days (Mon-Fri)
Are you an experienced Audit professional looking for an exciting new challenge? We are currently seeking an Audit Senior to join an established and growing firm within the Corporate Audit and Advisory division.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their leadership skills, work with a variety of clients, and take on a hands-on compliance and advisory role.
You will play a pivotal role in leading site audit teams, supporting your partner/manager team, and ensuring audits exceed client expectations. If you are an ambitious, driven individual with a passion for audit and advisory, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
Audit Leadership: Lead and manage audit teams, ensuring all aspects of the audit process are completed efficiently, from planning through to final sign-off.
Audit Planning & Risk Management: Actively participate in audit planning, identifying risks, and formulating appropriate strategies.
Audit Fieldwork & Reporting: Oversee audit fieldwork, draft financial statements, and manage compliance with audit objectives.
Client Interaction: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, staying up-to-date with their business needs and providing tailored advice and recommendations.
Coaching & Development: Support the development of junior team members by providing on-the-job training and mentoring.
Commercial Reporting: Assist with the production of commercial management reports, ensuring key audit findings are clearly communicated.
Time & Budget Management: Manage the efficient use of resources, ensuring audits are completed on time and within budget.
Professional Development: Participate in ongoing training and development, enhancing both your technical expertise and leadership skills.
What We’re Looking For:
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with the following skills and experience:
Qualifications: ACA, ACCA, or equivalent.
Experience: Significant experience working in a professional accountancy practice, with a proven ability to manage a portfolio of clients.
Leadership: Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience of coaching or mentoring junior staff.
Client Focus: Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships, with a keen eye for spotting new business opportunities.
Audit Knowledge: Expertise in audit planning, fieldwork, and financial statement preparation. Familiarity with Caseware or similar audit software.
Organisation: Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
