Our client in Sunderland is looking for an experienced roofer to work on social housing contracts.
Job description:
* Completing projects on social housing.
* Completing repairs on pitch and residential properties
* Inspecting surfaces to be tiled
* Surface preparation work
* Laying tiles according to tiling plan
* Cutting tiles where necessary
* Grouting gaps between tiles
* Carrying out finishing work
* Interpreting architectural plans
* Installing or repairing shingles, tiles, or other roofing materials
* Ensuring the roof is properly waterproofed
* Replacing or installing new roofing systems on buildings and customizing materials for individual roofs
Personal description:
* NVQ in slating or equivalent
* CSCS
* Working at Heights
* Over five years experience
* Full UK Clean Driving licence and own transport
* Must be willing to travel if necessary
