Full-Time Learning Support Assistant (LSA) – Secondary School in Fareham

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a reputable secondary school in Fareham. This full-time position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on students' educational journeys, with the potential for a permanent contract upon successful completion of the probationary period.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide tailored support to students with diverse learning needs, ensuring they can access the curriculum effectively.
Collaborate with teachers and the SENCo to implement individualised support strategies.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and confidence.
Assist in monitoring and recording student progress, contributing to assessments and reviews.
Requirements:

Previous experience working with children or young adults, particularly in an educational setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and staff.
A patient and empathetic approach to supporting learners with varying needs.
Relevant qualifications or training in education or special educational needs are advantageous.
