Our client, a premier establishment that offers quality freight forwarding services, as well as an extensive array of logistics solutions that cater to a diverse range of industries, are looking to recruit a Trainee Freight Forwarder to join their team based at offices in the Birmingham area.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Trainee Freight Forwarder:
* Assist with operations across all freight forwarding import and export requirements
* Daily liaison with global office, airlines, shipping lines and hauliers in relation to the import and export co-ordination of shipments
* Providing customers with quotations
* Creating new bookings and maintain all specific programs
* Check documentation entries
* Prepare and transmit customs entries
* Track customer shipments, send arrival notices and accurately update all schedules.
To Be Considered:
* A keen interest in pursuing a career within the Supply Chain & Logistics industry
* Experience of working within International logistics or freight forwarding or customs clearance
* Excellent communication skills
* Able to work on own initiative or as part of a tea
* IT proficient
