Spirehouse are currently recruiting for an Income Officer for a Local Authority in the East Midlands.

The Opportunity:

This is a long-term temporary opportunity for an experienced Income Officer, who shall be required to take collection/enforcement action on current and former tenant rent arrears and provide general guidance to tenants on the management of their rent accounts.

The successful candidate will have/be:

* Previous experience of attending Court to represent possession proceedings

* Debt recovery within a Housing Association / Local Authority experience

* Computer literate

* Sound knowledge of best practices in management of income recovery, debt counselling and debt collection

* Up-to-date social housing issues and housing law in debt recovery

Further information:

* £19.55 per hour via Umbrella

* 37 hours per working week – Monday to Friday

* Immediate start available

* Temporary until January 2025

Requirements:

* Full UK Drivers licence with access to a vehicle
