Think FE is thrilled to be working with College in Birkenhead, in their search for an experienced and approachable Bricklaying Lecturer.

Position: Permanent, (37 hours/week) 
Salary: £37,000 - £42,000/ annum + extra £6000 from the government 
Location: Birkenhead
Start date: ASAP

Teaching qualification is not required but some teaching experience or work with apprentices is required. 

you will inspire and motivate students, passing on your skills and knowledge to the next generation of tradespeople. 
you will need to develop course materials and deliver high-quality lessons as well as support learners to achieve their full potential.

Qualifications required?

Hold level 3 in bricklaying (or equivalent)
Experience teaching (required)
Pass grade from English and Maths GCSEs (Grade 4 or a C)
Ideally, but not necessary, have a TQ
You’ll need to be passionate about your trade and able to engage students to achieve to their highest potential.
Willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check in order to be successful in this position.
