An ambitious structural engineering consultancy are currently recruiting for a Civil CAD Technician to join their expanding team. You will gain the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects covering a wide range of sectors. There will be the opportunity to progress further within this role.

Hours of work: 8:30am – 5pm, Monday – Friday.

This Civil CAD Technician job will suit:

* 2 years + experience within a similar infrastructure CAD position.

* Good communication skills and the ability to communicate ideas across all levels within the team.

* Strong working knowledge of Civil Engineering and drainage design.

* An understanding of XP Solutions (formerly Micro Drainage) WinDes and Autodesk Civils 3-D.

The Civil CAD Technician job will involve:

* Create, modify, and update 2D and 3D CAD drawings using XP Solutions and Autodesk Civils 3-D.

* Develop site layouts, road alignments, drainage systems, and earthworks designs.

* Interpret technical specifications, engineering sketches, and survey data to create detailed drawings.

* Assist engineers in preparing construction and planning documents.

* Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company design guidelines.
