Mobile Fabric Engineer | Building Fabric Works | Commercial Environments | North London region | £40,000 + Employment Package (WEEKLY PAY, paid overtime, paid call outs, pension, van, fuel card, phone etc).

Are you an experienced maintenance engineer within commercial environments? Do you have a varied skillset across building fabric works? (Carpentry, plumbing, painting and decorating etc)? Are you looking for a well paid role, with plenty of paid overtime with the security of a permanent position but weekly pay schedule of contracting work?

If you answered yes, then we want to speak with you! Due to the win of a new contract, we are hiring to expand our team of circa 150 in-house engineers!

Overview / Package:

* Job Title: Fabric Maintenance Engineer / Maintenance Multi Trader

* Locations: North London/ Hertfordshire

* Basic Salary: £38,000 - £40,000 per annum

* Paid Weekly

* Expected earnings with overtime / call out: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum

* Provided: Company van, fuel card, uniform, tools, phone etc.

* Environments: Light Commercial, ie: Pubs, Restaurants, Coffee Shops, Supermarkets, Retail Stores etc.

* Overtime rates: Mon-Fri, 06:00-23:59: x1.5 Rate. Mon-Fri, 00:00-05:59P: x2 Rate, Anytime Sundays & Bank Holidays: x2 Rate.

* Call out rota: 1 in 4 weeks.

* Call out rate: £60-80 per call out (this covers travel time and 1st hour on-site, following the first hour, you are paid overtime rates).

* Status: Permanent, PAYE position

* Works, dependant on skillset: Plumbing (taps, washers, internal blockages, leak detection, leak repair, basic pipework repairs etc), Carpentry (changing locks, fixtures and fittings, ceiling tiles, floor tiles, hanging decorations, basic woodwork, hanging doors, erecting wooden structures), painting and decorating, patch tiling, lifting and shifting, making good of areas, making spaces safe etc.

Requirements:

* Trade qualification to City and Guilds Level 2 standard is preferable within one of the following trades, however we are also happy to accept applications from "time served" professionals.

* Must be able to legally work and drive in the UK.

* Experience in commercial environments if preferable, if you have worked in retail stores, supermarkets, pubs, restaurants, coffee shops etc then again that is a large advantage but not essential.

* Must be comfortable working on a fast paced reactive basis.
