An established manufacturing company has a vacancy for a permanent experienced electroplater to join their Birmingham site.

You need to have done electroplating however, they would consider people who have done anodising.

* New electroplating facility with modern equipment and processes.

As an electroplating operative you will carry out the following duties:

* Day to day running of electroplating production lines (mainly gold and nickel).

* Monitoring and adjusting process equipment for best performance.

* Maintaining cleanliness of the plating lines and production area.

* Changing the settings to specific job orders.

* Quality checking on first offs.

* Taking parts off jigs and visually inspecting them.

* Regular checking of the chemicals and temperature controls.

Hours:

* 7am to 3.30pm Monday to Thursday and 7am to 12pm Friday.

Starting salary:

* £425 to £500 p/w
