As the Stock System Implementation Consultant you will have the opportunity to:
Lead the implementation, configuration, and data migration for the stock management system, ensuring alignment with business needs.
Deliver training and provide ongoing support to users, troubleshooting issues and ensuring smooth adoption of the system.
Optimise stock management workflows, conduct thorough system testing, and ensure compliance with best practices.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Stock System Implementation Consultant:
System Implementation & Configuration:
Lead the setup and configuration of the stock management system (Sage) to align with company needs.
Ensure accurate data migration from existing systems or manual processes to the new platform.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Work closely with internal teams, including procurement, sales, and warehousing, to understand and document stock management requirements.
Act as a liaison between the organisation and the system vendor, ensuring smooth communication and issue resolution.
Training & Support:
Develop and deliver training sessions for key users on system functionality and best practices.
Provide ongoing support during the implementation phase, troubleshooting issues and answering user queries.
Process Optimisation:
Analyse current stock management processes and recommend improvements aligned with system capabilities.
Configure automated workflows and reporting tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Testing & Quality Assurance:
Conduct thorough system testing, including user acceptance testing (UAT), to ensure functionality meets business requirements.
Identify and resolve any technical issues or bugs during the testing phase.
Documentation & Reporting:
Create detailed documentation, including user guides, process workflows, and system configurations.
Generate reports on system performance and implementation progress for management review.
Compliance & Best Practices:
Ensure the system adheres to relevant compliance standards and company policies.
Stay updated on industry best practices and incorporate them into the system setup and processes.
