About the role:

Our Client are looking to expand their in-house Estimating division by looking to hire talent for the future. Our client are looking to recruit an Assistant Estimator to join a well-established experienced team. This opening would be perfect for someone just starting out there Estimating career, as well an experienced Administrator looking to further their career.

Duties:

• Assist Estimators in Mechanical & Electrical tender production.
• Deal with enquiries coming in and going out.
• Attend and both internal and external meetings.
• Type tender letters.
• Ensure competitive tenders.
• Learn under the guidance of a senior estimator.
• Produce basic take-offs and obtain best quotes from suppliers.
• Analysing project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to understand project requirements.
• Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for accurate cost estimates.
