A Local Authority in West London is seeking a Resident Advisor to join their Resident Services team. This temporary role is set to begin immediately and will last for an initial period of three months (potential for extension) Payrate £19.36 per hour (PAYE) or £24.00 (Umbrella)
Please note: this is an entirely office based position, working pattern Mon – Fri, hours 09:00 – 17:00.
As Resident Advisor, you will provide exceptional service to residents who visit or contact the Council via face-to-face, telephone, and various digital channels such as chat, social media, and email.
Your goal will be to deliver efficient and accurate assistance, addressing a wide range of council and partner services at the first point of contact, ensuring seamless interaction with back-office departments.
Responsibilities:
Delivering excellent customer service to residents
Advising on a diverse range of council and partner services
Resolving queries at the first point of contact
Ensuring smooth interface with back-office departments
Candidate Profile:
Experienced customer service officer with a solid understanding of council services
Primarily face-to-face role, with some administrative and call centre tasks
Effective communication skills across all access channels
Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
Solution driven.
Proficient in using information and communications technology to access and convey information
Experience in a customer service centre or similar environment, delivering high-quality services
Skilled in handling challenging customers
Excellent customer service skills
Experience working for another local authority an advance.
Interviews to take place immediately with a view to an immediate start thereafter.
