We are recruiting an experienced and results-driven Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations within a manufacturing facility. The role is critical in ensuring that the machinery and equipment operate at peak efficiency, downtime is minimised and operational excellence is achieved.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering and maintenance management, with a proven track record of leading teams and implementing effective strategies in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing a team of engineers and reporting into the Engineering manager, you’ll oversee and manage all preventative, corrective and reactive maintenance activities across the manufacturing plant. You’ll develop your team to deliver high performance in a continuous improvement environment whilst fostering a culture of safety first.

In addition, you’ll develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment focusing on improving overall plant reliability. Your robust management of the maintenance budget will ensure cost-effective operations and adherence to financial targets.

You’ll also provide detailed reports on KPI performance and ongoing projects to the wider business to help them make informed, strategic decisions.

What do you need?

Extensive experience in maintenance management within a manufacturing or industrial environment and proven leadership experience with the ability to manage a diverse team. All this will be backed up with recognisable engineering qualifications and the hunger to grow your career. In return your salary will be circa £55k along with company benefits.
