Multi-Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias) – Tottington, Bury

Are you an experienced engineer with an electrical bias? Our client, a leading manufacturer based in Tottington, Bury, is seeking a Multi-Skilled Engineer to maintain and improve their plant equipment and ensure the smooth operation of their production process.

Role Overview: As a Multi-Skilled Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and improvement of plant machinery and equipment to reduce downtime and enhance productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform planned and reactive maintenance to prevent production interruptions

* Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems, including PLCs and inverters

* Work with control systems and drives to ensure equipment operates efficiently

* Collaborate with production teams to maintain operational continuity

Shift Pattern:

* Rotating shifts: Monday to Friday, 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, and 10pm-6am

Requirements:

* Completed a recognised apprenticeship in a relevant field

* Proven experience in an industrial environment

* Strong knowledge of control systems, drives, PLCs, and inverters

* Electrical and mechanical maintenance skills

* Ability to work flexibly in a rotating shift pattern
