Job Description

As a Multiskilled Technician, you will play a vital role in providing top-tier mechanical, electrical, and building services engineering maintenance to our client's properties.

Your responsibilities will include fault finding, repairs, maintenance, and installations across the client sites, ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standards.

The emphasis in this role is on delivering a world-class building services maintenance experience, ensuring that the client's facilities operate smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

* Responsible for electrical and mechanical PPM, proactive and reactive works issued through the helpdesk within set time frames so that the customer expectations are exceeded on the containment buildings and the associated Effluent Treatment Plant

* Responsible for the ETP system maintenance during the planned shutdown periods ensuring the tasks are completed in accordance with the current contract providing assurance and all required reports

* Provide callout response for the client as detailed by the supervisor and out of hours by the ISS shift team

* Undertake contractor control duties on behalf of the client, including mentoring of contractors and their workmanship, so that the relevant standards are met. Issue of Permits to Work

* Ensure that all mechanical, electrical and control equipment are within scope and operates to specified performance criteria

* Ensure equipment and surrounding area conforms to agreed company standards

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications​

* ​City & Guilds 2230 Level 3 OR NVQ 2356 / 2357

OR

* City and Guilds 2330 Level 3 in Electrical Installation

OR

* AM1 and AM2

AND

* City & Guilds 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations (BS:7671:2018) preferable with A2 amendment

In addition to the above mandatory requirements applicants who have served a recognised apprenticeship and have the following will be preferred:-

* City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in Inspection & Testing (2394/5)

* Electrical to Mechanical conversion (EMC) desirable but not essential

* JIB Accredited

* IPAF / PASMA

* Full UK Driving License

* Significant experience in providing electrical building services maintenance to include fault finding, maintenance, installation and inspection/testing

* Significant previous experience in providing reactive and PPM building services maintenance
