A Financial Controller is needed for a growing Structural Steel company in North Yorkshire that has recently transitioned to PLC status. This role offers the opportunity to become a shareholder as part of the employment package.

Position: Full-time, Hybrid
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Reporting to: Managing Director

In this role, you will be:

Overseeing finance operations.
Producing and analysing monthly Management Accounts.
Preparing financial reports and dashboards.
Managing BACS payments and expenses.
Maintaining banking relationships and the fixed asset register.
Responsible for the balance sheet and reconciliations.
Addressing queries from customers, suppliers, and HMRC.
Ensuring regulatory compliance.
Supervising year-end processes and liaising with auditors.
Overseeing payroll.
Managing HR functions, including recruitment.
Handling company insurance and IT.Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years in a similar role.
Previous line management experience.
GCSE English and Maths at Grade C or above.
AAT Level 3 (or equivalent) qualification.
Proficiency in Sage Accounting and Sage Payroll software.
Excellent communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
