We have an exciting opportunity to join our Festival and Events team as an Operations Executive.

Although based in Birmingham, you will spend the event season in the field with the team ensuring the successful delivery of your operational plan and ultimately drive financial performance.

What you'll do …

Create and optimise operational plans, managing vehicles, drivers, staff, and customer experience on-site

Be the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders,including event organisers, traffic management companies, local authorities,and partner agencies, to ensure smooth service delivery

Ensure health and safety compliance, conducting risk assessments, and implementing safe working practices at events and coach station operations.

Assist with the design, implementation, and maintenance of coach networks for new and existing events.

Collaborate with the Commercial Manager to ensure services are merchandised effectively and launched on time.

Champion customer experience by conducting root cause investigations into service issues and implementing improvement plans

Monitor and report on service performance, customer feedback, and operational insights, producing post-event reviews and performance reports

Support new business development by identifying and assisting

You will need …

Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and Google applications

Knowledge and experience in the management, delivery , supply and demand for festivals and events. (coach experience desirable)

Strong relationship building and communication skills and ability to coordinate internal business units.

Experience of health and safety responsibilities (IOSH qualification desirable)

We are looking for somebody energetic and flexible. Occasional working overtime to meet business demands. Regular travel (particularly throughout the summer period) to other sites which may incorporate overnight stays and weekend working in order to fulfil the role.
